Baptistery located in Piazza del Duomo. On three of the four sides there are three large doors famous for their decorations. The oldest pair of doors are the bronze doors presently found on the South side of the baptistery. Made by Andrea Pisano around 1330, the doors consist of 28 quatrefoil panels depicting scenes from St. John’s life.
